After sending out the earlier communication about virtual learning for Oak Park and Laurel Magnet, a creative plan was developed by our child nutrition director that will allow the Laurel High School Culinary Arts students the opportunity to gain their internship experiences at our elementary cafeterias, allowing for regular meal service for our students. We are excited to have the culinary arts students join our team and gain their on-the-job training right here in the Laurel School District, while serving alongside our veteran nutrition experts. School will be in session for OP and LMSA on the hybrid schedule beginning Monday, November 30, 2020. As the pandemic continues to bring about unusual circumstances, we thank you all for your patience as we work through the challenges with creativity and the relentlessness of a Golden Tornado.

Every Student Counts. Every Moment Matters.
